IMNU students shine in national competition
A delegation consisting of five undergraduate students and an instructor from Inner Mongolia Normal University won category awards at the Huawen Cup National Normal College Students’ Teaching Skills Competition (Biology and Politics) -- held in Ulaanqab in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region --- on Sept 20-23.
After stiff competition and careful reviews, the IMNU delegation won one first prize, three second prizes and three third prizes in the two categories of teaching design and teaching ability.
The national level competition, hosted by the China Association for Educational Technology, aims to provide a platform for college and university students to display their teaching skills.
It also aims to boost the interest of college students in education and teaching and to promote the development of the education sector.
University officials said IMNU had always attached great importance to training basic teaching skills.
They said this was the first time that an IMNU delegation had ever participated in this national-level competition and was expected to provide valuable experience for future reference.
