IMNU to welcome world-class musicians
The press conference for the first Hohhot International Music Summer Camp was held at the Concert Hall of Inner Mongolia Normal University in Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 15, attracting more than 10 mainstream medias such as People's Daily Online, Inner Mongolia TV Station and Inner Mongolia Daily.
This summer camp is one of the series of activities during the 2nd China Horse Culture Festival and is scheduled to be held from Aug 16 to 21.
There will be a number of special music lectures, lessons, concerts and performances during the five-day event. Music competitions will also be set up during the event, providing young musicians opportunities to compete with their peers.
The event attracted many experts, scholars and young students from both home and abroad, and invited a number of music masters as professional tutors, including Liu Shikun, Bao Huizhen, Wei Danwen, Lu Siqing, Wang Shaowu, Zhang Ti, Chang Hua, Marty Rossi.
Na Mula, art director of the summer camp, said that Inner Mongolia is a land that has nurtured a number of artists in dance, music and painting. The beauty of Inner Mongolian culture will be fully showcased to the world through the event.
The first international summer camp in Inner Mongolia attracted 185 students from various provinces and cities across the country, including Hong Kong and Taiwan, and many other countries after two months of promotion.
Inner Mongolia has established a complete system of musical performance and research with rich regional characteristics, and made significant contributions to the promotion of regional art and culture.
