IMNU president visits Russia to forge links
Yun Guohong, president of Inner Mongolia Normal University, was invited to the Dmitri Hvorostov State Academy of Arts in Russia for a visit on Jul 2 to forge academic links, according to university officials.
Yun also give a briefing to the president of Dmitri Hvorostov State Academy of Arts about IMNU and expressed his wish for strengthened cooperation between the two institutions.
“With the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership established between China and Russia, it is high time our university seek friendship with Russian peers and jointly make contributions to the relationships between the two countries and the promotion of educational and cultural development,” Yun said.
He invited the teachers and students in Dmitri Hvorostovsky State Academy of Arts to visit IMNU and encouraged them to communicate more with Chinese students.
After the visit, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement and pledged to join hands in the future development of the study of arts.
