IMNU hosts preliminaries for national archery contest

A preliminary round for the Chinese University Archery Championship was held at Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) on May 26.
Hosted by the Chinese University Sports Federation and organized by IMNU's sports college, the preliminary round attracted some 100 college students from seven universities including IMNU, Inner Mongolia University and Inner Mongolia Agricultural University.
Two referees, 21 male students and 10 female students from IMNU took part in the preliminary round. Students used traditional bows or recurve bows to make their shots.
During the contest, an online scoring platform was adopted to update the rankings of all the participating students in real time –– a new addition to the competition.
A total of 1,055 students from 105 universities took part in the event at IMNU.
