IMNU leader attends New Year gala for international students

Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) Vice-President Zhang Haifeng led a group of faculty members to attend the New Year gala for international students in Inner Mongolia autonomous region held by the region’s government and education authority, on Dec 15.
Vice-President Zhang presented awards to international students who were recognized in the Chinese writing contest themed “Inner Mongolia in my eyes” held by the region’s education authority.
A total of eight students from IMNU were among the winners who shared the second prize for the writing contest.
The gala involved more than 180 performers from nine universities, 21 of whom were international students from IMNU.
The New Year gala for international students in Inner Mongolia has been held for five consecutive years, with the aim of helping foreign students better understand China and Inner Mongolia, and offering them a chance to show themselves.
